Student of the Week: Margarita Nuno
Today’s Pioneer Spotlight is Margarita Nuno, our Student of the Week for September 20, 2010. Margarita is an MS Marketing candidate who graduates in November. Originally from Mexico City, Margarita lived in the Southwest and Midwest United States before coming to Denver for her master’s degree program. She is the graduate assistant in the Graduate Admissions Office and the Department of Marketing and routinely is called upon to help with marketing Daniels graduate programs, conducting competitive research and providing insight into today’s graduate students.
Carol Johnson, director of the Department of Marketing says Margarita’s “not only a dedicated student but is also committed to the Daniels community. She is active in the GBSA and is always willing to help with projects and requests in her role as a marketing department GA. Further, she was very successful as an intern for the Office of Communications Management this summer, as I understand it, helping on this very project!” Carol goes on to say “Margarita is a person who cares about community, has integrity and grace and in my opinion would make a wonderful SOTW.”
That’s good enough for team Daniels Pioneer to make her our inaugural Student of the Week! She gets some cool Daniels gear and all the attention one marketing student can handle.
